Circle Red is made of steel, and its shimmering glow results from application of 2 coats of primer and 5 coats of candy red paint.
From every direction the sculpture emits a different energy as the height, width, and angles of the various circles are viewed.

DIAMONDS TO THE SKY

Eleven diamonds ascend towards the sky as they get smaller in size. The appearance changes as light reflects on the piece at different times of the day.
OSPREY CIRCLE
Stainless steel, wood
Dimensions: 24" x 24" x 3"
Over 250 small osprey of 5 different shapes, sizes, wing positions and colors made of stainless steel, circle a blue pond filled with green fish. The height of the osprey vary as the rows grow higher and then descend to the pond.
This wall art is made of wood backer fabrication, stainless steel birds in a base of 1" thick hard laminate.
LOLLIPOP SUMMER
Acrylic resin and stainless steel
Dimensions: 12" x 22.5" x 16.5"
Made of acrylic resin and stainless steel sticks on a base of white acrylic. The lollipops are deliberately arranged to reflect different heights, angles and color patterns. The resins drip down the sticks to the base reflecting melting on a hot summer day.

Made of acrylic resin and stainless steel sticks on a base of white acrylic. The lollipops are deliberately arranged as concentric circles of different heights and color patterns with a large blue lollipop at the center.

The genesis for this sculpture was my bending soft metal rods to assume various shapes. Eventually a pattern emerged reminding me of two forms spooning together. This led to a 3/4 inch bending square aluminum sculpture reflecting these shapes.

This is a small version of the large outdoor Suspended in Space.
The spheres and blocks appear suspended in space defying the gravitational pull that would otherwise topple them.

Love is a universal feeling, and here it is spelled out in English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, Swahili, Hebrew and Arabic.

HOPE

The bottom half of the sculpture's curving lines merge with its rectangular shape. The ascending arrow on top holds the Earth. The color was chosen from rhododendron flowers blooming in Spring, a season of hope and rebirth.
SPIRALING RED
Resin

This was originally sculpted in clay and then made into a painted resin sculpture. It reflects the kinetic energy of the spiraling red coil as it interacts with the squares and rectangles.
GAINING STRENGTH
Aluminum

This sculpture highlights relationships between curves and straight lines. It shows the circles growing in size just as the colors strengthen. First sculpted in clay and made into a painted resin, it was also constructed with fabricated aluminum and a polychromatic finish. It is a smaller version of a large outdoor sculpture.
YELLOW ABSTRACT

Red, Blue and Yellow abstracts were originally done in clay and then made into painted resin sculptures. Recently all three of these pieces were produced in aluminum and painted with high gloss paint. They are a study of curves, straight lines, squares and rectangles.
