SAS

Bronze

Dimensions: 72" x 45" x 31"

This six foot bronze sculpture reflects the detail and proportions of a wild giraffe, including its coat of varied geometric shapes. The giraffe's ascending neck with tiny mane, small horns on its head, large eyes, and unique hooves are featured. The patina chosen is the actual shade I have seen on giraffes. I find the tall giraffe's graceful movement and it's unique body extraordinary.

KRUGER

Bronze

Dimensions: 37" x 52" x 38"

To me, three of the most interesting features of an elephant are its large ears, long trunk and protruding tusks. I was able to see these first hand when my family went on safari in South Africa's Kruger National Park. In this sculpture I have focused on capturing the intricate details of these three features, as well as the lined skin on this majestic animal enveloping its great weight. The patina chosen was gray, reflecting the elephant's color.

THINKING BIG

Aluminum

Dimensions: 28" x 18" x 18"

It is fun to watch squirrels flit their tails and eat acorns or bury them for finding later in the year. This squirrel is "thinking big" about acorns! The large silver acorn is polished aluminum and the much smaller squirrel is bronze. The juxtaposition of green and silver further emphasizes the ambition of the squirrel.

SHERU

Bronze

Dimensions: 40" x 60" x 21"

Sheru means lion in Hindi. This majestic cat has a regal mane around its neck which is reflected in the bronze sculpture. The pose here is an interesting one as the lion leans on its curving back and looks straight ahead.

MONKEY IN THE TREES

Bronze

Dimensions: 18" x 15" x 14"

Someone told me they had never heard of a bronze sculpture elevated in the trees. This monkey rises to the occasion. Here it sits on a 12 foot pole which is colored to look like a slender tree trunk. The patina on the bronze compliments the green that surrounds it.

(Monkey pole can be made for any height up to 14 feet)

MALIBU

Bronze

Dimensions: 36" x 52" x 21"

This bronze sculpture was inspired by my joyful experience with bottlenose Dolphins while kayaking in Malibu, California. I worked on capturing the movement of these majestic creatures as they leap out of the water. I chose a greenish blue patina which merges the natural dark color of the Dolphin with the sparkling sea.

ZUMA

Bronze

Dimensions: 31" x 12" x 18"

This smaller dolphin jumps with her mother MALIBU. Zuma is a beach in Malibu from which you can often see dolphins passing by.

PELICANS IN FORMATION

Bronze

Dimensions: 55" x 45" x 55"

Brown Pelicans fly every day over beaches in Florida and California. They seem to soar effortlessly in the wind, often in V formations. Here the bronze pelican’s size and features have been proportionally reproduced. Note the interesting feather pattern, long beak with pouch below, and feet that trail underneath as it flies forward.

OSPREY IN FLIGHT

Bronze

Dimensions: 5" x 36" x 16"

The majestic osprey extends its wings as it flies high above water.  Note its beautiful feathers and distinctive beak.

WHALE RISING

Bronze

Dimensions: 40" x 68" x 54"   (height can be altered)

This large outdoor bronze Humpback Whale is arching its back as it rises towards the surface. Placed on a 38 inch steel pole, one can view the lengthy line furrows in its belly and underside view of both fins and tail. Note the whale's blowhole, bumps around its jaw and upturning tail.

TORTOISE

Bronze

Dimensions: 7" x 21.5" x 15"

These amazing creatures carry their houses on their backs. I was always fascinated by the unique patterns found on their shells. In this sculpture, they are depicted in the bronze, along with the interesting contours they make.
